May 20, 2009 // 8.43am

I got my hair did.

Have to train the bangs to go to the side, but I enjoy it.

I think... that is it.

May 17, 2009 // 3.30am

Just got back from seeing A Clockwork Orange midnight movie at The Inwood. Very, very strange. Not sure what I think about it honestly. Thought the main guy did an incredible job acting, though. Movie is just... whew. Interesting.

But I am now tired. And that is all I have to say.

May 13, 2009 // 10.51pm

WHEW! Busy busy week. Lazy, too. Hehe.

Off last Wednesday, so just lounged around. Worked Thursday, then off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sooo... Friday slept in super late. Went to see Obsessed, which I was surprised by. I enjoyed myself. We went to see it at Studio Movie Grill, too, which has ohsoyummy meat lovers pizza. MMM. As we left, Mom picked up a Dallas Observer and discovered that The Breakfast Club was playing the midnight show for The Inwood. Sweet! They changed it up too, and instead of normal movie seats, they have big comfy couches and ginormous bean bag chairs. It was loverly!

Since it was a late movie, Saturday was a late morning! I met up with my HPDFW group, though, for fun tile stamping and Drakie's birthday. Then went to my pal Eva's for hours of alcohol, tacos, and Rock Band, muahahaha! FUN TIMES AHOY!!

Sunday was, again, very lazy. Finally rolled out of bed around three. Hehe. We ended up not doing much at the house, but did see Star Trek. AWESOME and I know NOTHING about Star Trek. I shall put the movies on my Netflix now. Yup yup. Spock is hot. So was Nero.

Monday was a totally different story. Work was NUTS! Crazy busy and we were short a person. *shudder*

Came home, decided to go to Best Buy. Looked at cameras. Didn't pass my test. Was sad. Wandered. Saw Wii. Picked up Wii. Debated about Wii. Bought Wii.

SO. FRIGGIN. AWESOME!

It's kicking my butt, though! Only have WiiSports at the mo' but dang! It's better than a gym membership. Hehe. And it's so SHIIIIINNNNYYYYYY!!!

Aaaaand we threw a surprise baby shower for our Pharmacy Manager today at work, which was much fun. So much cute stuff! They're expecting in about six weeks. Twin boys. *squees*

May 08, 2009 // 5.50pm

May or may not have slept until 2.45 this afternoon. *grin* Had several dreams, of which they were all weird. One involved me being in a video game, another had a wedding where Seal and Heidi Klum were seated next to me, one had armed robbery and I nearly shot the dude, and my personal favourite was of me driving in a convertible smart car with a camel hanging on to the back.

Yeah. I know.

Debating on what colour to paint my nails. There's good ol' black, but I have a pretty green and lovely bluish-green. Or deep purple. Help me choose!

I've been following Stephen Fry's Twitter, and I swear, I love him more and more. And his AudioBoo posts! He should talk all the time. Srsly.

Off to see Obsessed. Better be worth it. Star Trek tomorrow, early, to avoid crowd.

May 06, 2009 // 5.43pm

Well... Mom has been laid off from her job. This is actually quite a good thing. She won't have to deal with all the b.s. she's put up with the last few months, and she's getting a severence. She was wanting to quit anyway, so this is really for the best. She's going to look into doing freelance tech work, since she's so good at that.

Last night was fun. I hung out with my pal, Eva, at her place and we played Rock Band and Sing Star. I don't want to brag, but I totally kicked her butt, HA! Now I can add PlayStation to my list of Things I Must Own.

I didn't go home till about 1.30 last night, so I wound up sleeping the day away. At least I was somewhat productive - I've just finished going through Othello and will have the screencaps up on Michael Sheen Online tomorrow.

We went to see Wolverine tonight. Twas fun! And lots of things got blowed up, so my attention was kept. Now I'm watching Mary Reilly (instead of just getting to Michael's parts) and am still finding John Malkovich disturbingly hot. o_0

April 30, 2009 // 11.44pm

Frost/Nixon screencaps finished. 1738 + 137 from deleted scenes. o_0

http://www.michaelsheenonline.com.

My back is killing me. Ugh. Must see Tara this weekend. Yes. Indeed.

I have to go to the lady doctor tomorrow. :o( Me no wanna.

Me wanna sleep.

Alkeyhall? Nope. Just sillay.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee.

April 29, 2009 // 12.20am

LOST IS LOVE.

April 28, 2009 // 12.14am

Uh... may or may not have just had four Vodka and fruity mix shots. HA! Surprisingly not drunk. Well, maybe a loittle weeee. NMot like the wine, though. Can still type. Ish.

Pictures from trip will be up by the end ofthe week. Screencapping Frost/Nixon first. Already at 1130 images. And I'm only halfway through the movie. 0_0 Yeesh.

Did not want to go to work. Still don't. At least it went fast. And co-workers are teh fun.

Oh, shh... I have to be at work in seven hours. WHoops!

April 24, 2009 // 8.58pm

AWESOME trip!!

We were hoping to leave out Friday afternoon, but weather in both Colorado and Texas made us stay, so we took off Saturday morning. Made it all the way to Raton, New Mexico and spent the night. Went through Raton Pass early Sunday morning, and made it to my great Aunt Ernie's in the Springs early that afternoon. We talked with her a bit and she offered to let us stay for the night (she later said we could stay for the trip, which was a nice surprise, as we'd planned on motel hopping, hehe!). We headed out a bit later and wound up at Garden of the Gods and this time we went all the way through the park instead of just the main bit we saw last year.

Monday, our cousin John spent the day with us. We went up to the Budweiser plant and saw the Clydesdales (we didn't tour the plant) and had some free beer (eww, but I tried a blueberry one that wasn't bad) and chatted. Then we headed to Estes Park, which was an absolutely beautiful drive up. Gorgeous. And there was TONS OF SNOW left over from the storm that Friday. Dinner was spent with our cousin Jenette, whom I'd never met before. She was tons of fun.

Tuesday, we left early to go to Royal Gorge. Along the way, we took a different route than we originally planned, and got an amazing view of the mountains and we came across a winery called Holy Cross Abbey. We stopped in and did some tastings. Came home with four bottles, hehe. Nummy.

A couple miles out of the Gorge was a little train ride that takes you out to view the gorge off the side of a mountain. Unbelievable! Royal Gorge was tons of fun! It was a surprisingly hot day, but it was a nice heat, no humidity or anything. We did the aerial tram across, the incline escalator, drove across the bridge, saw the animals, and were *this close* to doing the Skycoaster jump, but it was closed for the season. SADFACE.

Unfortunately, that was where trouble started. As we were leaving the train place, the oil light on Mom's car started flickering. We pulled over and the lady running the place called up a guy who does some general motor work for the area and he checked the oil gauge and said it was okay. The altitude can sometimes affect it. Mom called her mechanic, and he said the same - altitude. So we went on our merry way.

Along the road back to the Springs, it started flickering again. We were off the mountain. A bit further on, we heard a clicking, then something that sounded like something loose and flapping around in there. We managed to exit the highway and pull over to a gas station. Two guys were there who looked like mechanics and we asked them for help. Yeah, we were completely out of oil. The guy on the mountain? Checked the transmission fluid, not oil. These guys noticed a leak, but we don't know how it could have happened, since Mom had taken it in the be checked out a couple days before our trip and all was well. We added three quarts of oil, but nothing. The guys helped push the car to a spot and we sat there for a while, in shock. The car wouldn't do anything.

RIP, Mom's 1998 Lavender Toyota Camery. It had a good long life. 235,800 miles. :o(

We called John and he came and got us. We cleared out the car and went back to John's to use his Net to look up rental cars. Yeesh, they were expensive.

We had originally planned to have pizza and watch American Idol with our cousin Steve and his wife Janet who are ohsoawesome, but sadly, with the car situation, we had to cancel. We weren't even sure when we'd be leaving.

Wednesday morning, a phone call to Hertz found us a car that we could drive back home for under two hundred, so we were pleased. We got the car with John and his son, Nathan, and Nathan joined us while we went to the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings. Very cool and interesting!

After dropping Nathan off, we joined our cousin Patrick and his family for a delicious dinner. His four kids managed to wear me out tossing a football around, hehe. They were all so much fun and sweet.

Thursday, we headed out early with a plan to hit Alamosa and check some records for some land my grandparents owned, but we got distracted by big sand dunes! We went to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and they were beautiful. I walked around in the sand and river and it was all the fun of a beach without the self-consciousness. I also plugged Michael Sheen Online by writing the link in the sand, HA! Go me.

Instead of heading back to Raton on a highway that seemed to have nothing along it, we went down into Sante Fe and thought we could head out to Amarillo from there... but we found out we had to go to Albuquerque.

While at a gas station, I noticed this big black dog wandering around to every car. I didn't see tags or anybody paying attention to her, and I could tell she was thirsty and probably hungry, so I went in and got some water and dog food. The poor thing looked malnurioushed. She was very sweet and starving - she ate the entire can of food very quickly, so I bought her another one, which she seemed to appreciate. If we'd had a bigger car, we'd have popped her in the back and taken her to be checked out at a shelter. I was very tempted to keep her. Apparently some lady owns her and is a regular customer at that gas station, but where was she? Nowhere to be found. That poor dog was left all alone in the heat and... ugh! People suck.

We went to a casino for a bit, too, on the way to Sante Fe, but didn't leave with much else. I broke even, though, so whatev. We didn't get into Albuquerque until nearly nine, so it was completely dark. We grabbed dinner, and I passed out in the backseat. Mom drove through the night, resting as she needed. When I woke up Friday morning, we were just outside of Amarillo. Texas is boring. We got the car dropped off in time so we weren't charged for an extra day, and we came home to a happy dog who'd missed us dearly.

I LOVE COLORADO CAN I GO BACK PLEASE?!

April 23, 2009 // 5.27am

We're leaving Colorado Springs this morning. This trip has been absolutely fantastic! In a nutshell, Raton Pass, Garden of the Gods, Budweiser factory, Clydesdales, Estes Park, SNOW, dinner with family, Holy Cross Abbey, WINE, Royal Gorge, car died, rental car, Cliff Dwellings, leaving a day early.

Yes, the car broke down. More details to come. HAHA! I leave you in suspense. *wicked grin*

April 15, 2009 // 1.43pm

Mom and I are off to Colorado Springs in TWO DAYS! 0_0 Are we ready? Absolutely not. I'm spending today washing clothes and gathering what we'll be taking. Good thing about driving there is no limits on what we can and can't take. My computer will be coming along as well. Weehoo!

I'm still ambiguous on the fact that Michael Sheen will be in the next Twilight movie. Reading the book, I got halfway through and wound up throwing it down in frustration. I just didn't like it. It annoyed me. I saw the movie with friends and it was only slightly better than the book. Robert Pattinson still needs a hairbrush. But, I'm willing to give it a chance. If nothing else, Michael will put all of himself into the role and make it worth my while.

Although, that dude who plays Jacob Black's pretty hot... WITHOUT the hair. I KNOW! ME? NOT LIKE LONG HAIR? *dies*

Also? Lost made me so very happy last week. I can't wait for tonight. We finally get to find out about Miles's creepyawesomeness! Yay!!

April 07, 2009 // 11.45pm

April 03, 2009 // 12.06am

Today I've been... I don't know. Blue. I haven't cried, I've just felt down for most of the day. It's better than how's it's been in the past, mind, but it still just makes me feel so completely helpless.

I am really glad that I wasn't at the point that I have been, though. I guess keeping myself busy is helping.

I dunno.

April 02, 2009 // 12.31pm

I totally just got Rick-Rolled! I looked up Alice in Wonderland on YouTube and got an Alan Rickman clip which had a link to [OFFICIAL] Alice in Wonderland Trailer, so I clicked, and there's Rick. Yes.

*loves this song regardless*

April 01, 2009 // 11.01pm

Well, I've sat here for nearly ten minutes trying to think of anything good to say. There just isn't. Heh. After the weekend I've had, I spent this week just in complete boredom. And working.

Oh, well, I guess there are a couple things.

I'm addicted to watching clips of Jonathan Ross on YouTube. Was up till 2.30 last night watching. HA.

Also, it appears I'm the friend people tell they're pregnant first. Hehehe. I'm very happy for a friend of mine and her husband. They'll make lurvely parents.

Now, I sleep.

March 29, 2009 // 2.58pm

HaHaHaaaaa....

I went to an HPDFW meeting last night at 6. Didn't get home until 6.30 this morning. HAHAHA!!

It was friggin great! We spent like, eight hours playing all different kinds of games - Apple to Apples, Guess Who, an HOUR LONG GAME of Twister, charades - then the group of us that were left piled into a KARAOKE CAB and went to a club. Karaoke. Cab. Is. The. Shit!

I had so much fun. I was exhausted by the time I got home, but whatever. I loved it. I love that group.

March 28, 2009 // 4.09pm

Well, it's up and running!

Michael Sheen Online.

Took me long enough, heh! I'm still trying to get the forum set up, but everything else is there. Need to expand on the bio, but for now, a quick little blurb will do. And, of course, once my DVD-Rom gets fixed, there'll be tons more screencaps.

March 26, 2009 // 12.22am

*collapses into a heap* Guh. Crazy, crazy day at work. Texans + rain = nobody knowing how to shop without freaking out! My gosh, people! It's a bit of water. Unless you're allergic like the aliens in Signs, suck it up. And, of course, I was out-window, so I got to deal with them all! Fortunately, it wasn't a matter of people being bitchy. They were just coming in packs and wouldn't stop.

Um, Lost? Made me squee something awful tonight. HA! I love that show. So effing much. ♥

That is all. I have to be at work in 7.5 hours. Weeeehooo!

March 25, 2009 // 12.30am

Well, this is definitely something new for me! I've always wanted to put a blog on here, and I finally did. Granted, you can't leave comments or anything, but that's neither here nor there because I don't care. Hehe. Maybe in time I'll get something that allows it, but for now, this will do.

I totally revamped the site to look exactly like it has before but completely new. HA! I basically stole my idea using the old Franz Ferdinand layout and tweaked to it be more universally sound in the design, and put the lovely Michael Sheen on it. I loev him so. Yes, loev.

I'll have new pictures to add because in a few weeks, my mother and I will be hitting up Colorado again. We're going to the Springs, but we're also hoping to get to Aspen for a day and a bit north of Denver to meet with a cousin. I'm very excited! We are both in desperate need of a vacation. Work for us has been crazy and hectic and we just need some time to relax and not care about a thing.

It would appear sleep is calling for me, so I will answer it. More to come with the layout as I finish. Today was spent getting it laid out all pretty and such. Nighty!
